Description
Here is my humanized version of Nightmare Moon. Sorry it's so shitty, I wanted something MLP related at the last minute, but oh well. And for those who are interested here is my backstory for Nightmare Moon in my fancomic series "Team Harmony" which you can read right here!Princess Luna, was the younger sister of Princess Celestia, and the youngest daughter of their mother, Queen Faust who was the ruler of the dimension of Harmonia (Yes I change the name of Equestria since they're not horses in this story) Celestia and Luna would always have the best relationship until one day, Queen Faust decided to step down from the throne and pass the crown to be the next queen of Harmonia to one of her daughters. That daughter happened to Celestia. Even though Luna had more potential than Celestia, Faust did not feel that Luna did not have the mentality to rule. Despite counseling from Celestia, Luna isolated herself, being fueled by jealousy, rage and pride. After awhile she developed a split personality, a new persona has taken over, the demon of the night who calls herself “Nightmare Moon”! Celestia and Nightmare Moon battled on a few occasions. Until one day during Celestia's coronation, Nightmare Moon attacked. With the combined efforts of Celestia, the formerQueen Faust and the Harmony Sages who inherited the Elements of Harmony to stop her. As punishment for her actions, the newly crowned Queen Celestia with sorrow in her heart banished Nightmare Moon. However many years have past and Nightmare Moon has returned to wreak havoc and spread fear throughout the dimensions and Earth happens to be her target. Fearful of things to come, Queen Celestia decides it is the best time to gather the Elements of Harmony and recruit the new generation of the Harmony Sages.

Hm, let's see.
First, there's her face. It looks like one of a serpent beast. Like she thrives primarily on instinct.
Gives the feeling that she doesn't care who you are. She'll still kill you.
Secondly, the attire. ("Mars isn't the only planet with two moons".)
In all seriousness, I feel like I'm looking at a Kijo or demoness wearing that outfit. It fits so well I think I'd be
stuck in thinking whether to look away or look at her.
Thirdly, the backstory. Something about it adds more weight to the character.
As in, her reasons are more clear and the reasons behind her dark descent
makes it all the more tragic. You'd want to save her but the way she acts
makes you worried that your efforts would be fruitless.

Actually that is perfect! I did try to make her as threatening as possible. (Truth be told I'm actually getting more positive reception for this design) But I think you summed it up rather nicely.
