Description This is just the bones of the fan art I did for Carrie White. The original model was a thicc woman dressed as a draculina; she had a wasp waist because she was crushed inside this latex bustier, so, because she was an adult, not a skinny teenager, I had to pair down Carrie's hips significantly--keeping their width shorter than her shoulders--while tweaking the waist to maintain an organic sense of counter balance (or "contra posto").

Because the original model was in costume, with long, draped Elvira sleeves, I had to noodle out where the hell Carrie's delts wrapped around, joining the forms of her lats and serratus anterior to constitute the shape of her back. That was fun.

For any newbies (he said with a giant ass asterisk)--for anyone just starting out, when you do the forehead make sure it's the same distance as the chin to the base of the nose to the base of the nose to the top of the brow line. Measure the distance in 3rds, from the chin, to the nose, to the brow. Also (A quickie hack for the mouth?) draw a 'V' using the outer parts of the eyes touching the chin; nested in between the 'V' will be where the lips sit. (Hence why the mouth in the "mask", the reference for Carrie's expression, was scrooched up a little.)

P.S. I'm not making this up: I was listening to Youtube, and, in my queue, as I was converting this into a png,'Into the Fire' by Dokken topped the list. I said 'Ooooh, yes, please!'
