Just to butt in on you Tensen, Cable never really sticks with one costume at any time, but the reason for the current one is that he's using the Infonet to replace his telepathy and the Cone of Silence to simulate his Telekinesis, so he's got to have hardware wired all over his body for it to work.
I am such a nerd its not funny...
