(Fate vs Umineko)

Connections : Both have a romantic relationship with the red-haired protagonist who gets embroiled in an event that they’ve a part in (Shirou Emiya and Battler Ushiromiya respectively). They contrast however with Shirou and Saber’s relationship being largely positive throughout the Holy Grail War, while Battler and Beatrice have a rather tumultuous relationship to simplify it. Before they became a Heroic Servant and The Golden Witch respectively, they were normal girls with different names (Artoria Pendragon and Sayo Yasuda although, her birth name is Lion Ushiromiya). And their childhoods were not exactly the best to say the least (Artoria was born into a time of chaos and war that began with the demise of the Western Roman Empire and Beatrice was conceived through rape and incest).
