Very unusual. The skin fairly pulsates. You've drawn the skin in such a translucent manner. I like the variety in the form as well. The human body, and the pulsating tail, and sharp edged wings. Very cool.

very cool reference, I think the tail towards the back is looking flattened because of the light source, maybe you can add Β a stronger cast shadow, and that can help it out a bit more.Β
