Hooooooooo boy it feels so damn good to just draw an idea in one sitting after soooo longggg

Anyway this is based on a screenshot from Rooster Teeth's animated series Camp Camp, from Episode 12 (which was uploaded earlier today)
Holy shit I knew they'd give David some backstory and a look into why he's such a hyper-happy goober all the time but... Wow...! Suddenly, character development!!
And the scene where is happens looked so beautiful that I hope this pencil drawing does that scene at least a tiny bit of justice even if there's no delicious woodland colors.
I know some of the stuff doesn't match the scene from the show itself, it's just meant to look like the scene

Sorry if David looks a bit too different, I imitated the show's style on the background but not on him (his head isn't long enough ahshdhhfjjd)
