Took a a break for a few days and went to visit my sister today but here's the face of the Rainbow Overlord~ Don't let her colorful outfit and pink hair fool you she's a badass and not afraid to use that bazooka.
ngl, that bazooka was way fun to pixel XD I originally came up with her back in my sophomore year of high school and she obviously has some Utena inspiration.
her slightly less bright and crazy counterpart will likely be next...

Personal History
Aurora was not always an esteemed leader in fact she was an orphaned street kid who had to claw and scratch to get anything. But when Spectralis started to decline due to overpopulation, a failing economy, and a deceitful government Aurora saw an opportunity. She joined the revolution who sought to destroy the current form of government and worked her way to their leader. Under her rule she renamed Spectralis the Rainbow Empire and made her former resistance leaders her counsel. Together they began to restore the country to a functioning and fair one. But her childhood nature reared it's head and she began to expand their empire by annexing surrounding countries by force under the guise of protecting their people and claiming needed resources.

Out of curiosity, do you not shade most of your pixel creations because it's a tedious pain? I know that until I get my drawing tablet I won't be making pixels for a bit.

Not exactly, I usually shade my pixels when they are 'finished' pieces like dolls, icons, etc. But for my reference sheets I usually keep them simple. :3

Ha, I just bought my tablet. I really want to experiment with digital art as much as pixel some more. It hurts my hand to use the mouse and I just don't have the attention span for it.

I guess so, I've always been more comfortable with a mouse but the process taking longer. XD
I don't mind, as far back as I can remember is 2004. At least that's what my oldest dolls are marked as. Yeah, I still have my site but the server disappeared so I gotta look into getting a new one. >3> It would be great if you got back into it!
