Full Name: Samuel Noel Smith

Role/Occupation: (illegal) Mob doctor

Trivia: Right-handed, Went bald at an early age (so he shaves his head), thinks suspenders make him look cool, a bit of a mooch.

Personality: This man is very smug, and pretty darn dangerous. Watch out for him. Ever since he had begun working for the mob, he began to carry some sort of weapon on his person, usually a little revolver hidden in his jacket (But he's never had a problem with simply stabbing someone with his medical equipment). His favorite foods are carrots and steak. He has a bit (but not much) of a soft spot for Roy Meloni (This guy: [link] ), since they had been best friends through their childhood. Not that he wouldn't sell the reporter out in a heartbeat. Don't get on his bad side, because he just might kill you. Or at least ask someone else to kill you, depending on how fond he is of you.

Background: Samuel Smith's backstory is blurry, and even he doesn't remember much of it, simply because he doesn't have a reason to bother remembering. He had grown up with his sister and parents in some nobody town in Western Massachusetts, gone to school, as he should have, and went straight to college, where he proceeded to eventually get his medical license. When his dad got sick, he did everything in his power to save him, but realized, even with a medical license, there was nothing he could do. With his money beginning to run low from all the medical bills, Samuel took out a loan with the local mob and kept his father alive with that.
When Roy Meloni found out Samuel had dealings with the mob, the little snitch spread the rumor, even having the nerve to post a little article involving it in the newspaper he works for. Needless to say, once news got around that the doctor had done such a thing, he promptly had his medical license taken away. With the combination of losing his license, discovering Roy’s betrayal, and his dad dying very soon after hearing the rumor, Samuel kind of snapped… With no way to pay back the mob at that point, Samuel begged for mercy and said he would rather work off his debt in the group than die. The mob agreed. Samuel now works as a sort of doctor for them.
Roy and Samuel had known each other as children (They met when Roy was visiting family in MA), and their friendship had continued into adulthood until Samuel joined the mob. After that, Roy made sure to steer clear of his former comrade, knowing all too well he would sell him out to the mob any day, seeing as Roy had made his fair share of enemies with that mob (Not to mention that he knows Samuel would probably kill him for ratting him out). Roy and Samuel no longer stay in touch.
