The way I designed this was simply to take this, select what ever attachment, copy, and paste, which it should just select the colors and not the background. With the Paint.net I just tired out, I do that but the "transparent" background is also selected and overlaps with the attachment, are you able to change the settings so that you can just copy and paste the the attachment over where you need it?

If it's set as a separate layer it doesn't do that.

PDN is a pretty good middle ground between MS Paint and Photoshop. It allows some of the functionality of Photoshop but the simplicity of MS Paint.

Well I use Gimp and that's why i did that, but I could mention that others can use it, and don't worry, there will be plenty of more tools
