Cultural Laws:

(Imperial Edicts)
-Heresy Law: Mealis is the only deity to be openly praised in Evari lands.
-Deviancy Laws: Any sexual deviancy, as defined as any sexual act, not for the sake of reproduction, is punishable by death.
-Impurity Laws: By Religious Decree, the impure shall be burned alive by pyre. The Impure are as directed by the Book of Crowns under the Mealis Edicts are men who lay with men, women who lay with women, and servants of the Eldar.
-The Chain Laws: By Decree of the Emperor Norh Hawke the Second the Gallus and Dreite are to be freed from their servitude to the Evari. With his divine patience and mercy, the Dreite will be given lands in the South Eastern lands to make their homes but shall not be allowed to live within the walls of human cities. By This act, all non-humans, save for our elven and dwarven allies, shall be prohibited from purchasing property in human cities. As for the Gallus, they shall be granted territory in the North Western reaches of the barren lands to settle. The Gallus shall be barred from carrying arms and armor, owning property, marrying, and holding positions of power outside of these granted territories.

-Politics-
Political Parties:
-The Ring-Givers: The Ring Givers support Monarchy and the divine rights of Nobility and Royalty.
Sexuality: The Margo are extremely sexually repressed almost equally so with the Evari.
Interclass Dynamics: The Class divide within Margo lands is severe with the poor and peasants having no means of rising out of their poverty. Starvation and strife are a commonplace and often martial force is required to keep the lower classes in line.
Interracial Dynamics: The Margo clash with Olysis and Sparth often.
Interspecies Dynamics: The Margo are like most humans repulsed by the foreign and alien creatures such as orks and beastmen but can put up with the lesser abominations of Dwarves and Elves.
Gender Dynamics: Males are the dominant sex though noble women still wield substantial power.

-Military-
Military Type: Professional Army, heavy Mercenary usage.
Military Recruitment and Conscription: Firstborn sons of each family must serve in the army. Peasant Conscription as needed.

Special Military Units:

Strengths: Strong militia, Heavy Infantry, and Mercenary supplements.
Weaknesses: Weak cavalry.
Favored Tactics: The Margo are reliant on widdling enemies down with arrows, before locking them down with heavy infantry and militia before tearing them apart with flanking calvary.

-Titles, Class, and Castes-
-Royalty: The Royals rule over the nation-state beneath only the Evari Emperor and councils.
-Nobility: The Nobles are the lords and ladies each ruling over lands and people.
-Merchant: The Merchant class are what most would consider the upper middle class.
-Trades: The Trades class are skilled workers that make up the middle and lower middle classes.  
-Servant: The Servant class is just boarding the line of lower middle class and is composed of religious servants and guards.
-Peasantry: The Peasants are the lowest tier of class the poor and destitute effectively 'owned' by their noble lords. They are farmers and unskilled labor. The Margo peasantry tends to be extremely poor.

-Life-
Climate: Plains, Temperate, elevated humidity.
Architecture: Stone and wood homes, massive cathedrals, great citadels, and gothic designs.
Clothing:
-Men: Long Tunics, Trousers, stockings, boots, cloaks, and coifs. The materials vary between classes and the uppermost classes prefer more ornate touches.
-Women: Kirtles, Surcoats, Girdles, Gowns, Hoods, Capes, Smocks, hose,  and Bonnets. Upper Classes are adorned with jewelry and wear linens and silks.
Food and Diet:
Margo Cuisine consists of a variety of foods including long strings of flour and water called atriya, casseroles, salted fish, and stockfish. The use of olive oils, fruits preserved in honey, liqour, and sugar and brined root vegetables. They also have many foods imported from other cultures for the nobility.

-Fruit: Marajian Berries, Gooseberries, Mulberries, Elderberry, Bilberry, Cloudberry, Gooseberry, Greengage, Blackberries, Strawberries, Raspberries,  Quince, Rhubarb, Currants, Plums, Tayberries, Apples, Damsons, Pears.
-Vegetables: Rutabaga, Turnips, Potatoes, Mangolds, Kale, Broccoli, Mushrooms, Marrows, Fennel, Artichokes, Leeks, Parsnips, Chicory, Cauliflower, Cabbage, Brussel Sprouts, Peas, Garlic, Lettuce, Radishes, Tomatoes, Sweet Corn, Red Cabbage, Watercress, Aubergine.
-Grains: Barley, Rye, Wheat, Corn, Spelt, Sorghum, and Oats. Sugarcane(Which is technically a grass)
-Meats: Pigs, Cows, Sheep, Chicken, Game birds, Dollidoo, Fish, Deer, and Rabbits.
Status-Symbols: Status symbols in Margo lands revolve around numerous pieces of jewelry on both sexes, men have gilded armor and weapons, and women show off with makeup, hair dyes, and clothing of the most exotic and hard to find colors.

-Religion-
Greater Deities: Mealis, Ondra Seir
Lesser Deities:  Garon, Zatolen

-Art- (WIP)
Ceremony and Social Protocols: Men greet each other grabbing the other's right hand and pulling them towards one another until the forearms connect with the opposing man's chest. Women greet women and men they know with hugs. There are no special protocols for interacting with other social classes save for titles.
Painting: The Margo often rely on reliefs to display their great deeds and conquests!
Statues: Statues are used for many purposes in the Margo culture. From immortalizing the wealthy, worthy, or royal. Giving form to myths, legends, and historical events.
Dance: The Margo have formal balls and great and structured dances both simple and complex.
Music: Music is a grand part of the Margo culture and often symphonies are the preferred of nobility though the Margo are renown as the birthplace of Opera and their voices embody that of the gods themselves! Some instruments used include the shawms, fiddles, rebecs, crwths, portative organs, trumpets, timbrel, lutes, harps, and pandouris.
Poetry: Margo poetry is rarely used outside of burial rites and common folk festivals.
Literature: The Margo enjoy the writing of plays and stories of war and myth!

-Education-
Literacy Level: One out of six hundred Margo are literate.
Basic Education: The Margo's youth receive their basic education through their childhood. With their teen years dedicated to martial and civil exploits. Wealthy families often are tutored further past basic educations.
Higher Education: The Margo academies are some of the few not dedicated to the whims of the arcane or divine pursuits. Denied to all but the most wealthy local and foreign families the Margo academies are grand things where great science and learning is done.
Arcane Education: The Hall of Magi has limited infrastructure and power in Margo lands as the Margo high culture is far overshadowed by its warlike brute tendencies. Pushing away the Hall of Magi's interest in setting up chapters there.
Religious Education: The Margo religious training starts in the teens when Margo youth start to learn trade skills. They learn about their various gods, brewing, and beekeeping.

Currency: Steel Legion, Silver Legion, Iron Legion, Bronze Legion, Copper Legion.
Trades Focus: Arms, Armor, Olive Oil, Honey, Marble, Mead.
Imports: Slate, Granite, Steel, Bronze, and Dyes.
Exports: Marble, Mead, Honey, Wool, and Olive Oil.
