Now that HBO's drama series adaptation of Game of Thrones has concluded, I can honestly say that the show was great up until season 7, and I actually like season 7 despite its flaws. Season 8, however, was an absolute train wreck. After the final episode I don't know how to feel about the series' conclusion. Really, I just can't figure out what to make of it.

It was semi bittersweet and semi happy ending. I definitely think Jon Snow got screwed over, but then again he's actually better off starting a new life beyond the Wall with the wildings hundreds of miles away from all the madness down south. As for Arya, we don't know where she'll end up now that she's sailing West of Westeros to see what exists there. Perhaps there are more dragons and children of the forest.

Me, personally, I'd like to think it's a combination of that and the continent West of Westeros turning out to be Middle Earth, inhabited by humans, dragons, children of the forest, hobbits, dwarves, elves, ents, trolls, orcs, goblins and various other races of creatures, plus magic on that side of the world works differently than back east. Here I have her travelling about with the wizard Gandalf the Grey, one of many people whom she meets and befriends while adventuring in these strange new lands.
