I was absolutely heartbroken when I heard of the passing of Kevin Conroy two days ago. For me and countless others, he was the definitive Dark Knight. May he Rest In Peace 😞😢. Actually saw and heard him live during a panel at New York comic con in 2014. I may not have gotten to meet and talk to the guy face to face, but seeing and hearing him there was good enough for me in my book. Batman the animated series was actually one of the things that inspired me to study art in college….and this drawing here…it may not be much but I see it as simple and to the point. It’s the least I could do to honor someone who had a profound impact on me as a kid growing up in the early 2000s. My deepest sympathies to all his friends and loved ones.
