It's a very good piece for concept art but there are some major problems I do see with this piece.

Firstly, the background and the lizard man blend together, I would recommend that you outline the character you draw if you use the same materials to draw the main focus of the piece. I outline my character with sharpie to make them stand out more. Since you are using either crayons or colored pencils I would recommend pen.

Also I would recommend using both light and dark colors. Using all light cool colors make the clothes and skin blend together making it hard to tell what things are.

I would also suggest coloring the background all the way. Only coloring parts it makes it look like he's standing in smoke. If that was the point I would smear it to make it look more standout. Black was a good choice for a background. Since it's a dark color it helps it.

I understand this is concept art but I always think art should be done to the best.
