"Eric!" Slender called out He grabbed my paws trying not to let go.
"Slender!" I called to him I looked down into the dark hole it looked so deep and so dark.
"Slender you gotta let go!" I told him.
"No! There's no way I'm going to let you go!" I could feel myself slipping from his paws.
"Slender....You know you cant hold on either...Please, let me go..." I told him with my voice cracking a bit.
Slender shook and closed his eyes and looked away from me for a second then looked back at me, tears in his eyes "Eric...I cant...Ive been down there...Its a horrible place...It makes you go insane! I don't want that to happen to you...Stop telling me to let go you 'cause I wont...I never will!" I sighed I gave him a slight smile.
"but you know I'll be back...I will find a way out somehow...I just want you to know, I love you very much, and I want you to take care of the kits while I'm gone..." I tried to make my voice sound sweet.
"How can I do that without you by my side? You know how I used to be...Trying to change but I never could...Eric without you I am lost...I need you here with me..." He told me now he was crying and I felt so horrible inside.
"Slender, you don't need me here with you...You just need to think of me...And think of what's going to happen when I return...Now let me go..." He seemed to look down but then I felt my paws slipping from his, and I fell.
Slender pulled himself up he watched me fall he knew he couldn't do anything now he sat down when I had been engulfed into the darkness then he walked away from the void "R-rocky...I had to let him go...I couldn't hold on, I need you to help me get him back..." He told Rocky, the owl, Rocky jumped onto his back.
"Slender I heard! I'm sure he'll return safe and sound! Belive me he's a strong kid there's no way he wont find a way out." Rocky told Slender.
"I know...But in my heart I cant seem to let go of the feeling I wont see him again...He could die down there!" Slender shook and layed himself down.
"Slender...I know that feeling and its a lie...Trust me...He'll be back..."
