I guess this is my final submission of the year - and I have to say I'm quite pleased with it . I don't tend to draw past a characters shoulders since I'm not all that good at getting body proportions right, but I feel that this isn't too bad as an attempt. Won't get better at it if I don't practice, so I may as well try and draw characters fully more often.
Anyway, this is Snitter from the film The Plague Dogs (the book was written by the author of Watership Down ); I watched it for the first time recently after being told that if I liked Watership Down and Felidae , I'd probably like The Plague Dogs . I did enjoy the film, but it does get rather sad and depressing at times. Despite being quite sad, I'd still recommend it since it was a great film .
For those who have seen The Plague Dogs , I tried to include Rowf in this, I really did XD. However, even though I was fine with drawing Snitter, I could not for the life of me get Rowf's body proportions right when he was lying down. Or stood up. I couldn't draw him in general, and I have no idea why D: I went from being really pleased with Snitter to "Oh God I can't draw anymore" XD.
