Maybe you can help me with something. Whenever someone is against all wars, I get very curious about what they would have done against Nazi Germany, because short of war, I have strictly no idea what could have been done. (And in fact, if England and France hadn't so desperetaly tried to avoid war in the beginning, there would not have been a WW2, and there wouldn't have been so many million people gassed.)

I do have enormous respect for all the people who died and/or fought to save us from Nazism. But I am genuinely curious as to a pacifist's solution to Hitler.

I've heard pacifists sy that by taking a completely non-tolerance stance toward war, we compensate for the appetites of the war-hungry. However, hardcore pacifists (who say NO conditions justify violence) are few and far between.

I don't think of myself as a pacifist (certainly not a hardcore pacifist) so much as a cynic. This piece (despite the title) was digging at the "glory in war," and the Munition piece was digging at phallic weaponry. As for the artist's comment, that was just there so I could quote the Edwin Starr song "War" that is so delightfully exuberant. When I find I good pacifist joke I will pounce with equal vigour.

I wish I had a better answer.

It's ok. I didn't think you were a hardcore pacifist, no worries, I was just curious to know your answer in case you were. No pacifist has ever been able to answer the Nazi problem with flowers, for all I know.
