I hope I made it in time hehehe

Story for these loveydoveys:

Asante laid on the giant tree's shadow, sheltering her pelt from the burning sun. Marcus had been gone for a while now,
he said he would do the hunting this time. "what a miracle" had joked Asante as Marcus offered this. The breezy wind brushed
her fur as she smelled the air looking for fragrances to enjoy. Rain season had just finished and puddles covered the savannah.
That meant more pray too, and that for Asante was one possible reason for Marcus' sudden enthusiasm. Her ear twitched as
she noticed her mate running behind a zebra at full speed. A smile drew itself on Asante's face as she observed her handsome mate.

"well, at least he tries to hunt" giggled Asante to herself as marcus dropped face-first in a puddle. Any other day she would have ran to
him and see if he was alright, but today she just felt too relaxed. Besides, Marcus wasn't a cub anymore since ages ago.

She laid on her side, trying to rest while ignoring Marcus' furious roars. Before she would even notice Marcus was chasing a gazelle.
"gosh, when will he understand he will never run as quick as them" Asante was aware that Marcus wasn't the best hunter, nor runner,
in the pride. But he was her silly little boy.

Some meters away from the tree Marcus ran like crazy behind the young gazelle. One would have said she was prancing, not escaping
from a deadly predator. For some reason the gazelle went in the tree's direction now, and was getting nearer to sleeping Asante with
each jump. As Marcus noticed, he got distracted and didn't see the small pebble on the floor. Marcus flew through the air towards the unaware
lioness. Marcus yelled as he fell to the ground. Asante woke up just in time to see Marcus landing some millimeters in front of her. As she
raised her head to see what was this scandal, her nose touched with Marcus'.

"heh, sorry dear, I think we'll have to wait some time before we eat another gazelle"

"oh Marcus" sighed Asante as she realized life couldn't be more perfect.
