*pant pant huff huff pant huff* \;7;/ I did it! I can't believe I actually did it.
Since this isn't really a confession (the confession comes later), I decided to name it differently than the others. Though this name was kind of...a spur of the moment choice, I might end up changing it later.
Also, in case you were wondering, yes. Germany is narrating this. I felt it would be more appropriate for it to be from his POV than for it to be 3rd person.
So, sorry if it's not perfect (it actually turned out way better than I thought), but I was never planning on actually making this strip. It was very difficult just to make the props (specifically the paintings x.x), and then setting up the room was another difficult task. Basically, I did the best I could, so I hope you all like it, despite the flaws! ;7;
*crosses fingers in hopes that size problems will be a minor issue*

And when Germany officially was created, he was older! But the other countries were babies before!
Conclusion: He was baby, but as another country and lost his memory about this time, because the other country stopped to exist and the new country is based on the 'remains'. (Which is in case of Germany even correct.)

Yep exactly! Himaruya has also drawn a strip of older Holy Rome (so yes, he canonically survives the war) shouting at a meeting EXACTLY like Germany did in the first episode. Maybe Germany even knows he was Holy Rome at one point, but just doesn't remember when he knew Italy. His near death experience could have cleared quite a few memories, tbh.

Exactly! Every German I've met (or Austrian in your case xD) has said that it only makes sense for Germany to be the Holy Roman Empire. Heck, that's how I met and befriended my German! x'D
And no matter what Himaruya says, it doesn't make sense for Holy Rome to not be related to Prussia. Himaruya even "slipped up" and had HRE call Prussia "big brother". He said it was an accident, but I think that he's just trying to cover it up still. And why the heck else would Prussia constantly nag the newly created Germany about calling him "big brother"? And that aside, Prussia is a descendant of Germania...who both HRE and Germany look exactly alike.
I've heard the excuse of Germany an Holy Rome being different souls, but just the same body. Because it was stated that the reason why Germany wasn't a baby when he was born was because he had an "already existing body". I totally don't buy the "different person same body" thing because Germany has actually had a flashback of Chibitalia and their personalities are far too similar to be different people.
So this is long...ahm...I'm kinda passionate about this if you haven't noticed. xD
