[id: In messy black-and-white inks, two men sit at a table. There is a coffeepot to the far right of them both.
On the left is Rex, an OC. He has long black hair tied back into a messy ponytail and a goatee. His ears are pointed and he has fangs. He is wearing a very shiny black coat that wrinkles dramatically over his arms. He looks fine, if a little annoyed. he is pouring clear liquid from a clear flask into a mug of coffee.
Next to him, facing straight ahead rather than to the right, is Alex Casey from Alan Wake 2, drawn rather off-model. He looks extremely perturbed, and is holding his mug of coffee in both hands in what appears to be a death-grip. He is surrounded by dark lines that suggest he's not having a very good time. Next to him, in small, rambling text that gets increasingly large and frustrated as it continues, is written an internal monologue:
"fuck. fucking. what the fuck. what happened. to the door. there is no door to this shop. Where is the fucking door. What happened when we walked in? There was a door then! What happened to the door. Why is the door gone. This makes No sense. We came in around the same time through a door. What happened to the fucking door? How could the door just... vanish? What? What the fuck happened to the DOOR?We came in through a door where the fuck did it GO what happened to the goddamn fucking door??? Where's the fucking door how are we in a coffeeshop with no fucking DOORS?"
In much less frustrated internal monologue is also tacked on, "Also what is with this guy."
Rex has an arrow that says 'seated for about 1.2 minutes' next to him. He also has a pocketknife lying on the table and there are several scratches taken out of the surface- evidently he's done those himself.
Rex says: "Look, the narrative's not gonna let either of us out of here until we start talking and I have to be across this continent and in a different dimension by Tuesday, so do you think we can speed this up?"
Casey does not respond, so Rex continues: "I can share some of my shitty vodka if that helps."
In an extremely small speech bubble and with very small text, Casey replies: "I'd appreciate that."]
