The biggest challenge when taking ice cream photo is timing...One of the reasons I enjoy making ice cream, this way I can practice taking better ice cream photos. Besides, the reward is ever-so delicious

To answer this particular question, to be honest I don't know either!? At time I do use food coloring, but no this one though...maybe the strawberries were extra red? Or perhaps the strawberry purée seemed red-er?
