Gouache and pen, 11x8"SO I made a doodle a while back of San riding one of the wolf cubs and I felt like it needed to be a painting. Things got out of hand from there.

Thanks! Someone else made that comment, too... I have to say I agree. I guess I was trying to make the wolf really muscly, and that put me in mind of cats. I think I have to do some new fanart when I get some time and draw a decent wolf face!

Firstly I have to say...You are so talented!!!
The 'wall' of boars is a great effect, originally I didn't realise it but then I noticed! It is quite subtle yet super effective. The Kodama are really cute 
I think by using brown outlining it is a good point of difference, because most things are outlined in black or a darker version of the colour that is being outlined (if that makes sense!) And here the brown is another really good effect.
You have done a very good job and I appreciate this artwork very much because
1. Its fan art of Princess Mononoke (one of the best movies ever! 
2. Because it is a traditional piece of artwork.
I am certainly stunned by this picture and would love to learn how you have done it!
