Wow. I am not a bug person when they are crawling on me, but I sure do love photos of them especially when they are as beautiful as that. Wonderful capture
How big is this critter? The ones we had in New York were HUGE. Mush to my dismay when one came into the house attached to my then waist length hair. I didn't see it until I sat on the couch and it startled me so badly that I flung it off my arm. Very scary to look down and come face to face with a 5 inch long mantis crawling up your arm. Then I realized.. I had just flung it into the living room and had NO idea where it went.

no, it's only spiders that terrify me....I like most other things....very fond of beatles, moths and even snakes....mantises are fascinating!
