Description Let me first start off by saying I did not do the henna design, I just took the photo. The henna art was done by a lovely lady named Heather (www.hennabyheather.com -- I'd definitely visit if I were you, there's a huge gallery and lots of info about the art!) at a small cafe near my house. I simply asked her to do something swirly and up my fingers, and she did it all free hand. This was before it dried. Today, after it's dried and been on my skin for about twenty-four hours, it's a dark, red-ish brown color. I've never had henna art done on my body, but it really is beautiful. I absolutely love it.

Oh, Heather also has a facebook page here: [link]
She does parties and weddings and all sorts of cool stuff. It's really neat! (:

It's a beautiful photo. And totally out of subject - how long did you stay with the henna paste, for it to be ready to wash off?

Thank you!

Anyway, she said to leave it on for at least a half an hour, then it starts to peel off on its own. It sort of flakes off, I guess you could say. I was reading, though, and her website says to leave it on as long as possible. I think it makes it dye your skin darker.

I see. I dye my hair with henna, but I have never done anything on my skin. Would be interesting... Thank you for the replay
