Take concept aircraft like I'd created for my alt-History Luft '46 aircraft designs, blend liberally with everything pulp fiction from the 20's to the 40's, add spies, mecha, and mad scientists, and set it in the era around WW2 and you have it. It's a good game and you can make it anything from Indiana Jones to Laurence of Arabia, or The Shadow, or Captain America, or play out your favorite war movie etc... The table-top war-game focuses on WW2 itself, but the RPG is more broad in scope and I'm in the middle of re-fighting the Africa campaign from the outbreak of the war in '40 between the Italians in Libya, and the British in Egypt. DP9 created a great setting and the game-play is fairly fast paced and the rules and dice conventions are quite easy to follow, but it's also quite a thinking game as the rules make it easy to get killed off if you don't think before you act in game-play (the table-top game can be quite brutal if the dice go against you)! DP9 has been my favored games company for years...
