I walked to school on this dreary winter morning. I had just passed a section of road in which all of the streetlights had blown out and the rhythmic groups of passing cars provided my only light for avoiding icy puddles and glass on the ground, which look the same in dim light. Approaching the gas station I realized that the fog not only absorbed the light that beamed from hundreds of visible vessels, but held it in that one place. I was thinking of calling this compilation "Suspended by the Fog" but I don't know how many people would get the reference to Job for a Cowboy "Suspended by the Throat."
