I got back into my drawing mood after doing that Crobat. I just felt like drawing a Darkrai, so I did. And as I was finishing the shading last night, it just came to me that this is an apt Halloween piece. You don't get more evil than Darkrai, am I right? And fail grass is fail. I wanted to do something other than being lazy and using grass brushes. And yes the background is supposed to be Newmoon IslandDownload for full, 1280x1024 view

The pose is so great, it feels like Darkrai is going to drag me in the picture
And don't worry about the background, since Darkrai catches nearly all of the viewer's attention it is still awesome

I know I shouldn't worry about the backgrounds too much, but you know what it's like, your always the most critical person about your work

Yeah...well, being critical is supposed to be a good thing, since that way you can see the parts you'd like to improve/fix

I'm not saying it's a bad thing, far from it. But sometimes I have had times where I've wanted to make something that leaves even me speechless over it. I know it'll probably never happen, but that doesn't stop me thinking it occasionally
