SPOILERS AND RAMBLE IN THE DESCRIPTION, BE WARNED
SOOOOO I scoured through every Chapter in BATIM and MY OH MY DID THEMEATLY AND CREW EVER IMPROVE WITH CHAPTER 4 AND THE REMASTERS. Well done to them! This Chapter was a HUGE step towards the big ending. Right off the bat it's a TERRIFYING chapter, you feel super bad for the Lost Ones, Bendy is still TERRIFYING, BOSS FIGHTS ARE A THING NOW, Bertrum is super creepy but cool, The Projector man was back (emphasis on was), Boris got turned into the wolf version of Frankenstein, "Alice" died (as probably most of us suspected) and then THE ENDING. A NEW ALICE AND BORIS?? WHAAAT!!

I couldn't help but draw one of my most FAVOURITE scenes of Chapter 4: The Bendy vs Projectionist fight! Absolutely wiiiiild.
Now rises the question: WHY did Bendy supposedly save Henry? And not just from the Projectionist - but from Sammy as well. His confusing behaviour made me at first believe he was gonna be like a chaotic neutral or an anti-hero. But then I did some further research... we know that as soon as Henry encounters the strange pentagram in Chapter 1 things start to get very, very odd. From the visions you get before you pass out, to the weird hallucinations, to the death sequence where you climb through an ink tunnel. Upon reading more theories cuzI'masuckerforthem I came upon the idea that Bendy WANTS Henry to journey deeper into the studio, to become his own sacrifice at the very end. During the visions at the pentagram, we see the ink machine, a wheelchair, and Bendy himself. Is Bendy, or more possibly Joey Drew, trying to tell Henry what happened to him? Perhaps he got fed up with waiting and became deathly ill, so he decided to step into the ink machine and become a crazy ink demon. But he didn't stop there. We know Joey Drew did terrible things to his fellow co-workers, turning them into ink monsters. However, he didn't want to conclude his crazy ideas, without bringing Henry into the mix. Hence the letter he sent. Now, jumping back onto the visions. There must be some kind of telepathic message being subconsciously transmitted between the two. Split second before the library and long hallway jumpscares, we see a glitch effect. And then the crazy stuff happens. Is Bendy showing Henry what happened, what he has done? Is this why Henry barely gives reaction (other than the possible concussions he somehow manages from falling) to those hallucinations? Then there is the fight with the Projectionist. Again, right before it happens, that glitch effect occurs. Could it be Henry unknowingly calling Bendy for help knowing he is in danger? Not to mention, Bendy doesn't even chase you in Chapter 4. Instead he taunts you. And seemingly he only chased you in Chapter 3 because you were doing errands for Alice.

Whatever Bendy's questionable motives are, I am definitely looking forward to Chapter 5 when they wrap this up!
