This one was an interesting one to shoot because it really creeped me out at the time, due to how real the setup looked. I had my friend Steph pose, and we set up the scene for a [fake] suicide in my bathroom, complete with Halloween fake blood and skin, and [in an unused shot], red food coloring in the bath water.Related content

At least the suicide depicted did not mess up somebody else's life !
Ann Landers, in one of her columns, advised readers that if one feels (s)he MUST end his(her) life, to please do so in a way that would not mess somebody else up ! She gave 2 cases :
(1)An old man threw himself under a 18-wheeler truck on a highway at night. It took over an hour to find all the body parts, and the truckdriver had to get psychiatric counseling. Not to mention the tying up of traffic as the highway was searched for human remains.
(2) A worthless drug addict jumped off a roof -and landed on a young lady on her way to work. Both were killed ! Young lady with a bright future ahead of her ,but ...
This diatribe was prompted by the suicide, just 2 days ago,of some guy who jumped off the roof of a very expensive hotel -and caved in the roof of an SUV, parked and waiting for a passenger. The driver narrowly escaped and was further traumatized by seeing the mangled body !

beautiful yet sad at the same time, my friend killed herself this way, it still hurts me knowing she felt like she could not live anymore. I loved her alot

This is actually quite chilling for me to see...A dark yet beautiful picture depicting the sadness and conflict of different emotions involving an attempted suicide. I have servere depression and have been hospitalized for attmpting before and looking at this picture makes me shiver just thinking about how close to death I was...

Thats why some people just slice and dice their arm or something and shove it in water and just let it soak.... Rinsing off blood is one thing but that... is not good.

Not only does it increase the blood flow, if you get too much water in your blood it can kill you.

Makes it easier to bleed out. Hot water accelerates the pulse, and stimulates blood flow.

wow..ti looks so real...reminds me of my BEST friend who wants to...i beg her not to...but i'm still afraid i'll get a phone call from her mother or one of our friends telling me she was found dead...it really scares me....

Well, I think that this is a beautiful piece. The pose, her clothes, the blood and even her expression all look very... hm. I'm kinda afraid to say "realistic".... :/
