true that, another observation made clear by his tendancy to not really put all that much thought into Tetsu-san's feelings at the given time, but I do think that such honesty would benefit their relationship once or if the situation is resolved

Hey, under my name on me homepage, I'm called the 'Man of Misanthropy' I have no problem with cynisism, that would be hypocritical of me to have a go at you for it. Anyway, i am naturally cynical until i get to know someone well enough.
Well I think Tetsu-san is really just learning this kind of thing, i mean Shun-san has had past relationships inwhich time I expect he has had experiance with such things, so is more of a veteran in this particular field.

I have contemplated on what has folded out so far, and I must say that the outlook is looking a little bleak from my point of view.
As you said, Tetsu-san isn't his first love, and the fact that this other fellow has gone out with him before only brings what he said before into a disturbing light.
"I'll just wait for you to break up" is what he said if I remember correctly. To be honest, I sympathize with Tetsu-san, I've seen this senario before, I can't say that the negative out come is all to pleasant for the people involved.
I will admit it was funny to watch though from my perspective, you may think me a bad person, but I am merely an observer
