"COUP DE GRACE!!!"- PrierHere's another one of Prier (from La Pucelle Tactics) performing one of her special attacks "Coup de Grace", a mega-powerful kick. In the game it does mega-damage for a single-hit attack. Its good for finishing off a boss or really powerful monster, or good as an alternate, low SP cost move that gets the enemy hurting in a hurry! ^__^
Another one for the Classics Collection.

She enjoys the thrill of battle. Too bad this is an old and crappier picture. I need to draw Prier like I've been drawing her, but in a battle stance or something like this. This old picture doesn't do my newer pictures of her justice.

I plan on drawing Demon Overlord Prier as well, soon. I'm also considering drawing a short manga about it in a style thats sort of like how Anakin Skywalker turns to the Dark Side and becomes Darth Vader. I think that would be interesting, and pretty accurate of Prier, actually.
Considering that Disgaea is the sequel to La Pucelle and Prier is a secret character, it is in continuity. Although, the ending for La Pucelle is different. Although, the secret dark world ending sees her turning into the overlord too, so more people see the special ending and the Disgaea continuity as the real storyline instead of it ending with La Pucelle.
Anyways, here's another picture of Prier I drew recently. It's pretty big, but I suggest full-viewing it anyway for the nice details.

Anyway as far as I know La Puccelle Tactics is wrongly acknowledged as Disgaea 0, Prier is a sort of cameo... a really hard boss you have to unlock, not really connected to the storyline.
That said, I still have to unlock & beat her

A common misconception among american gamers is that La Pucelle is the sequel to Disgaea. The reason for this is La Pucelle was advertized as being the sequel to Disgaea, when the truth is it was the first game in the Nippon Ichi series that I'm aware of and it is the prequel to Disgaea (meaning it was released after Disgaea even though it was created first).
The reason this misunderstanding happened was because Disgaea was released before La Pucelle here in the States, specifically.
You are right to say that Prier merely makes a cameo. She's not really a part of the plot. She's more like a reward and bonus for getting that far in the game. It's the same thing with Marjoly and Baal (Baal is from La Pucelle and Marjoly is from another Nippon Ichi game).
Although, with Baal, he doesn't look anything the same as he did in La Pucelle, and Marjoly, she is older in Disgaea which means that the game she was released in is also a prequal like La Pucelle is, as far as the story is concerned. It also explains her items and why they have those names.
Theres a trick to beating Prier really easy. But I don't want to tell you and ruin a perfectly good and tough fight.
