I am thinking a drawing or painting a Russian Ft 17 some time -not sure of the exact variant I want to portray.

like the ones they built in the 1920s with the new suspension, or the "Lenin" from 1917-18?

I like the FT tanks in this image best!  The camouflage is great and would be relatively simple for me to paint -but I wish the create a seen from the Russo-Polish war and the history tells me the Russians did not have tanks in that conflict.  I was able to learn about the Russian built Ft type tanks -Freedom Fighter Comrade Lenin -Paris Commune -Karl Marx, exedra . . .
    and they were never in any battle really.   If I will make a seen from the Russo-Polish war, I can't authentically portray the Reds as having tanks with them on their western campaign.   I have to change my ideas.   I feel like the Poles would look less heroic in my painting if I portrayed theses tanks being disabled by Soviet infantry; I had the converse image in mind - rifles jammed inside of the tracks and gammon grenades hailing over the tanks.   Maybe I am too ambitious for my own good.
