You never really believed in 'love at first sight' until you met Red, though with him it was technically love at first glance. His pitch black hair, mystic red eyes, pretty much everything about him was amazing and made him look mysterious. Though if you ever wanted to actually talk to him you would either have to go up to the peak of Mt. Silver or wait for him to make a visit; and even if he did visit, you'd do most of the talking. The him not talking part never really bothered you, it was the barley being able to see him part that bothered you.

One day you were tending to some of Professor Oak's Pokémon when suddenly, someone tapped on your shoulder. Not expecting it, you slightly jumped and turned around to see who had caused such a fright -- it was your true love himself, Red.

"R-Red? Oh my Arceus you scared me!" You said clutching over your heart.

He chuckled slightly before hugging you in an attempt to apologize.

When you were released from his grasp, you dusted yourself off.

"Why didn't you call? I could've prepared myself before you came down."

Red shrugged before speaking. "I wanted to surprise you."

"Well, your surprise worked." You said giggling. "But.." you started "It's not a special occasion for you to do that. Did something happen?" You asked getting worried.

He looked at you for a moment before taking you a hidden spot that you both found once when he came before.

Red looked like he was struggling to find the right words to say.

"R-Red, are you okay?"

He nodded and then began to speak. "[N-Name], I have to tell you something."

Your heart began to race at his words. Worry struck your mind, what was he going to say? Was it something bad? Was it something good?

"You can tell me anything."

He took a deep breath. "[Name], I've liked you for a while and being on Mt. Silver made me fall for you even more. I understand if you don't feel the same, I just wanted to get this off my chest."

You looked at Red in shock, this was the most you've ever heard him speak and he felt the same way about you.

"Red, I-I feel the same." You said looking into his deep, red eyes.

Smiling, he picked you up and spun you around before kissing you with so much passion that you could've fainted right there.

You had finally gotten your one true love, nothing could make you happier.
