Puberty was difficult enough to deal with. His body had decided that it was about time to start pumping up the testosterone levels, and Thomas began to live through all the difficulties that came with this. His girly voice began to squeak as his vocal cords thickened, his face began to grow patchy blotches of peach fuzz, and with everything else puberty entailed Thomas felt like he was dealing with just about enough.

But his body had other plans. He could remember the first details from that night well because he had shaved for the first time just that morning and he remembered when he reached up to feel a face that was rapidly changing all he could think was "Dammit, I just shaved all that crap off." Then he panicked because there he was, laying in bed, a nice breeze on his bare chest, and all of a sudden his face was bulging out and hair was growing everywhere.

He almost screamed.... almost, except that he remembered that his mum and sister were sleeping a room over. Instead he ran to the window and was grateful that the thing was already open, because there was no way in hell that he would have been able to use his stubby half-hand half-paw things. Thomas hesitated for only a moment, he was on the second story after all, but he jumped all the same.

When his body finished changing he realized that all he wanted to do was run, so he ran. Up the neighborhood streets, into the local park, around trees and cars. Horns honked, dogs barked, but Thomas just kept right on running.

When he returned home the next morning he was in a very sticky situation. He was naked, outside, and damn dirty. In the end he told his mom that he had snuck out to a party and the kids there had played this prank on him. The story earned him a week inside without TV, but he figured that was better then the truth.

Puberty has just gotten a whole lot weirder.

I started this a while ago and then completely forgot about it. It wasn't until someone from this group messaged me about something else that I was like "oh yeah, I'm part of this group." So I finished this up.

I tried something completely different for coloring with this. I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Also, I tried to write the story a bit immaturely since it's told by him... kinda, and he's about 13 at this point. He's 23 now, and still pretty immature, but not so bad. Anyway I'm not sure if I succeeded at anything but writing terribly, but there it is.

Yes, his bedroom is mostly purple. The boy likes purple, leave him alone!
