Description
In this "The Desert Sands" scenario, no islam exists.We can see the strengthening of Egypt, which gained back Cyrenaica and Crete, and Efrica, which resembles ancient Carthage.
The collpase of Visigorthic Spain brought a series of states: lusitiania, Galicia, Asturia, Gothica,Cantabria, Carptain (vassal of Efrica), and Everia (ATL Aragon).
The Mihranid kingdom of Persia now conquers Mesoptoamia.

Efrica is the name of the area in th local Romance lanmguage developping in the area around Carthage and Tripolitania.
Mortain is another new term meaning the Romance-speaking northern Morroco.
In fact, the South Romance languagesn are composed of the following:
*Efrican (around Carthage/Kartazhinu, Imbona, Triboli)
*Mortanian (around Tezha, Sifta and Rusadiru)
*Balearci
*Sardinian
*Sicilian.
I chose "Efrica" on puropse to avoid confusion between the country and the continent
