I was just wondering: how does a naga swallow its prey? even with unhinging the jaw it doesn't seem like it'd be wide enough to take in something larger than, say, a cat. Same for the throat.
Or do I even want to know? 0_0 XD

well snakes don't simply unhinge their jaws, theres actually a split in the bottom jaw so it can spread sideways also ^^

and the skin is stretchy, and the muscles powerful. Hence why some snakes are able to consume prey that seem far too large to be possible

Ah, that's awesome! What kinds do you work with, and in what capacity?
I like nagas. They're pretty cool, and have that sort of ancient and powerful appeal that I'm fond of. I only mind them when they try to kill me. XD

just corns, royals, common boas and Burmese. Theyre a small part of the group of animals I look after at the zoo

Now that's cool! My family is made up of big snake fans. We keep a caramel rat snake named Chewie as a pet. We all adore him!
