I made Thick paper cut-outs as my pattern (they're almost cardboard, but not quite), cut my fabric (3/4's of an inch maybe?) away from the edge, sewed 'em, and them put the cardboard/paper inside. I then put stuffing behind the paper, sewed it up, and vwalah. Stiff ears. I also hand-painted the black part... which was when I discovered how much of a pain painting fabric can be. >.>0
