Woo! I'm on a role with the character art, I gotta keep this up X3Figured I'd introduce a couple of key characters that will come up in a later story, who I just freakin adored.
This here is Aqua the Hedgehog, a water wielder with a big attitude andΒ sassy spark, and Ember the Cat a strong, level headed Fire wielder. Separate, they are powerful, but when they come together, their friendship and power become nearly unstoppable!
And yes, soon as I'm done introducing these peeps, I'll getting to writing and making ref sheets for everyone X3 Till then, hope you like <3

Firstly, I'd like to say that this is adorable! The shading is very well done, and the lighting is pleasing to the eye! The anatomy on the second character is pretty good, too! I really like the way you drew the characters <33
Now for the critique-- First thing I noticed was that you drew Aqua's hand backwards -v- I noticed that right away. The rest of her is pretty good, but the arms look a tad bit short on her. The ears on Aqua are a bit shifted to the left side of her head (right to us) when typically they should be more to either side of her head, but that isn't really much of a problem ^^ The headband is also a bit strange, being that it's sitting oddly on the left (right to us) side of her head. However, it's totally fine, as it could just be viewed as a thick headband, so, again, not really a problem! (Nothing in this drawing is really a problem, actually XD It's very adorable, and I love it!) All in all-- this is a pretty good drawing! Some things could be improved upon, but that will come with time ^^
