Amazing work on the detail, it's almost identical to the real thing (I'm holding one at the moment so I can say it's almost identical )!

You're missing the small seam lines around the 1-2-3-4 lights and between the shoulder buttons but the thing that bothers me the most is the bump (and maybe the material) on R3 and L3 sticks. The bumps should be smaller than what they are on this one. If those were just that amount better it could pass as a photo!

Sweet work nonetheless!

Thank you so much for your C&C's!

I'm aware of some flaws, some people here have also pointed them out for me before, like the bump on R3 and L3 sticks (I fixed that for my demo reel already ), and the power plug's material not looking much metalic. One thing I hand't realized was the seam lines you told me about.. But hey, I needed some flaws, or people wouldn't believe I had made it in 3D, right?

Thank you very much!

Heheh, I guess! I find that usually the problem with 3d is that the object is kinda too perfect for it to pass as a photograph anyway. Might as well put some details in there (or leave out) to hint that it's not a photo. Another thing is if people even notice.

Yeah, sometimes, all that a CG image needs is not the ultimate perfection of the model itself, but rather a different type of illumination or even a concrete kind of post-production that makes it achieve a look that is, in some way, typical of photography, I think!

Yeah, lighting is the key that can make or break the final image. Tweaking the lighting is sometimes boring though.

Great job. Textures look dead-on. Everything is near-photoreal except the power plug doesn't look metalic like mine. You spent a lot of time on this getting the textures to match. Hope you make lots of money on turbosquid - i'm afraid to use the site because I see so many stolen assets online. Maybe this will be in a PS commercial

Thank you very much! Yeah, I know the power plug's material is not anything near accurate.. =\ I should get back to that and improve it...
Haha yes, so far I've sold this model 5 times xP I have no clue on what they want it for, but if they pay, it's okay! xD

hopefully THEY aren't trying to sell it to PS3. You should show it to playstation just for the heck of it.

Hmmm that's actually a good idea. I'll look for their contact and email them some images of the model xD
