(Avatar VS Genshin Impact)

Two somewhat militant nations inspired by feudal Japan who at the time of their series were the main catalyst and/or participators of an ongoing event (The Hundred Year War and The Vision Hunt Decree respectively). These nations and its rulers also had a heavy theme revolving around an element (The ruler of the Fire Nation is referred to as the Fire Lord whilst Inazuma is where the Electro Archon, Baal rules). Eventually said events were halted when said rulers were confronted and defeated by some centuries old multi-elemental kid (Aang and Aether/Lumine) and ended said events, reforming the nations. Also said rulers once pretty much abandoned one of their “creations” (Zuko and Scaramouche respectively)

I’d say this is the only way Fire Lord Ozai can work in a VS setting, in an army fight. Though to keep it in character to these two nations, just have the Fire Nation try to invade Inazuma.
