Name:  Simon de Senlis

Born:  Saint-Gilles, France. Has travelled all over including: Jerusalem, Malta, Rome, Rhodes, Russia and many more.

Lives:  Hamm Tun, Mercia/England.

Parents:  Edward de Senlis and Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Siblings:  A younger brother called William, a younger sister called Alexandra; and an older brother called Matthew died when he was fifteen... he died after a fight broke out in the village, Matthew was accused of "messing" with the local mayors oldest daughter; Josselyn. The rumours were false, and started by the village thugs; the leader of which loved Josselyn ~ who in turned loved Matthew and no one else.

Dependants:  Wife called Isabella; they met and married during his time in Jerusalem while training as a Knight Templar. They have two children, Arabella and Benedict; before Simon went on the crusades. They would have a further two children when he returned from the crusades, Raphael and Aurora.

History:  Simon and his brother William were born into wealth in a small town in the North-West of France called Saint Gilles. Their older brother, Matthew was fifteen years old when he died, Simon was only ten; and William was eight years old. As soon as Simon reached the age of fifteen, he knew he had a calling in life; he believed that this was within the priesthood. William was close to his older brother and chose to follow him into the priesthood, both travelling to Rennes and the local monastery there. While there, their parents gave birth to a beautiful daughter called Alexandra.

During his time at the monastery, Simon got into a fight with another monk who was bullying his brother William. William tried to stand up for himself but it made things worse and both brothers were sent to the master of the monastery; Father Gerard. He sent both brothers away to different monasteries, to train them to become Knights and to learn discipline and the like. William was sent to Father Raymond du Puy in Rome to train with the Knights Hospitallers, they were a caring Order who were sent around the world to care for the sick. Simon was sent to Father Hugues de Payens in Jerusalem, to train with the Knights Templar; they were a fighting order of religious monks.

Their training took all of two years before they were sent off with their new Orders and charges. William chose to follow his Master to Malta, and Simon chose to travel to Spain; thought at the time to be the home of Christianity. During the next three years both brothers settled down into a normal routine, they even had time to visit their parents and sister; helping them to ready for their move to England/Mercia.

Then the brothers were called to the crusades, to follow the King and defend/protect him and those that travelled with him. They were away for a long time, missing Alexandra's plea to come home as their parents were brutally attacked and killed. When word reached them finally, they got home just in time to save the day.
