Description This is the sequel image to The Road on Which Cornerians Die.

The earliest known records of Tiberi's life document the beginnings of her infamy long before she even knew the word. As previously stated, her birth planet is unconfirmed but she was found on Aquas.

By a young soldier who would later become known as General Pepper.

At the time, he was just another soldier of the Cornerian Army when he came across the abandoned infant and her identification papers. Or, what was thought to be her identification papers. She was listed as having been born on Katina, but the papers did not match with Katinan records. The only aspect of these questionable papers retained was her name: Tiberi Kan.

Thus, the Pepper Family took the orphaned Tiberi in. She became the legal younger sister of the future General Pepper, who sparked her interest in artistry and flight. He didn't know at the time that his influences on her would spell disaster in decades to come. He never could have known. With Dr. Andross Oikonny he was strict and unforgiving and it cost him dearly for Tiberi was an admirer of the scientist.

Yet.

Even after the massacre at the Arspace Dynamics orbital station, her betrayal of Corneria, and merciless brutalities during air and space battles, the two still met once more under the giant tree at the center of Corneria City's park. By duty, he should have arrested her. By familial bond, he couldn't. Every time he looked into her face, he saw the abandoned child that became his sister. And she returned to Venom...

...after stealing yet another prototype from Arspace Dynamics. This time, without killing civilian workers.

This was his fallacy.

He let her go.

And it will haunt him until the day he dies.

I love the background story to this. It sounds pretty convincing and not too far-fetched for the Star-Fox universe. Not to mention the amount of definition in the picture for being so free form.

Thank you. I enjoyed writing it.

The definition in the actual image came about as an odd fluke. I've never had that happen before when doing backgrounds.

I love how you keep the appearances so vague. Pretty mystical.

Believe it or not, this painting took shape without any pre-planning it. I was messing around with brushes I made in Photoshop, and the shape of the tree just formed out of nowhere. Three hours later, I had this entire piece.
