Marinette, reinvigorated by the Guardian's advice, returns to Francoise Dupont School to look for Alya, with intent to once again give her the Miraculous of the Fox to become Rena Rouge, so she can create an illusion of Marinette to fool the enemy into believing she and Ladybug are separate people.

However, she has also realized that in order for Alya to successfully pull off a convincing illusion, she might have to see the full story, and learn the truth about her friend's double-life. With little options, due to Chat Noir's life being at stake, she may just have to let her true identity continue to slip.
