Hahahaha, I agree. He's hilarious and pretty cool to have around.
The fun thing is, I do not even have neutral karma, but a [I swear!] cosmethic(!!!) mod enabled me to hire neutal companions. (It does not work with bad karma ones, I actually tried.)
But I love travelling the wasteland with Butch, RL-3 and Charon. They're like a little dysfunctional family with tragic backstories.
Yep, I actually always viewed RL-3 as somewhat of a a tragic character similar to Butch. Joe points out that RL-3 has simulated personality, and during the game we learn that he's actually smart too. He's probably seen and perceived lots of shit during 200+ years and it probably does not help that he was programmed to serve a world and society that technically does not exist anymore.
He's probably lost countless of people, and I can imagine him being really lonely in a way.
(Likely the burden of most - if not all - ghouls and robots in Fallout.)
Tragic or not, I however like him, and think he's pretty underappreciated.
BUT, one of my fallout RP characters (a Lone wanderer) does have him as companion, and I'm even working on a picture of her and RL-3, putting them into FO4 style. (I originally planed to have her, RL-3, Butch and Charon in it, but scrapped the idea early, as I felt it was too overloaded.)

I'm glad yo're happy to see me around again. DA has become a little... Complicated for me recently, thanks to a good bunch of little pet peeves summing up over the last years, as well as someone here on dA starting to become incredibly toxic and openly hostile towards friends and myself lately.
Like, by now I have become far more strict with handling annoyances here and I blocked the toxic ones, it'll probably still take me a while to feel completely comfy around here again, but I'll try.
I mean, after all I guess that's the important thing in the end: To not abandon the good people because of bad events and individuals.

Never worry about taking time to respond to things by the way. For once, do we all have life and obligations going on, and also - I am far more slow than you are. XD (Like, I literally have thousands of deviations piled up I have yet to look at because I am spreading my attention and time to 25 different things. There's pretty much lots of stuff happening on my ed since we had the chance to talk last time. XD)
Like, It's perfectly fine to take time, and I won't hold it against you or anyone if they take their time to comment, or not even comment at all.
I mean, after all, dA is just a website; a random little place somewhere in the interet, it's fin, but not essential to life. ^.^
I nevertheless really appreciate reading from you. I admit, I assumed you to be inactive since I haven't heard of you for quite a while, but I'm really happy to see that I was wrong with that. XD
I hope we can get some communication rolling again, since you're actually one of the coolest people this place has to offer and seeing you emerging from the shadows truly makes my day.
Hope you and you're family are doing fine and you've had a neat summer.

(BTW: I'm super sorry for not replying in the RP document yet. I have something drafted, but I was not sure whether you were still interested after I haven't seen you around in a while. ^.^)

lol oh goodness XD watching me play Fallout 3 is like Extreme Hoarders: Companion Edition. I use an exploit in the game (unmodded) that allows you to have more than one companion at a time, and gather up EVERYBODY. If I'm going to be in the wasteland, I like the idea of having my own small army with me. We're all survivors right? lol so why not band together and kick some butt? I can't tell you how cool it is (or funny) to have a Radroach pop up out of nowhere and then have like 10 people all draw their weapons, trash talking the creature, and taking it out in a hail of unnecessary force more befitting a fight with a Super Mutant!!

Well you take all the time you need to settle back in! DA would be at a terrible loss without you and your beautiful quirky and original content! I know how it can be to deal with unsavory people online. I've had my fair few! Hopefully everything straightens out for you in the future ^^

lol that's my main problem. It takes me like a full week to do a single picture. I have so many ideas for pictures, but I'm too slow to get to them all. If I ever want to get a quarter of my Infinity Quest stuff uploaded, I'm going to have to find a way to get faster. Either way, I hope that stuff that happened to you was mostly good!! You're a good person, and the idea of you suffering unneededly aggrieves me.

You flatter me greatly my friend. I'm sorry if I worried you by my absence. I'm just trying to get back into the swing of churning out content and trying to see if I can't build up an audience across my accounts. I know there's people who enjoy my works, but I don't think I have anyone really "excited" to see what I pump out next. I just want to know if my ideas have enough merit to get people interested or not. Either way, and I know you say it's okay, but I'm still sorry that it takes me so long to get back in touch with you.

It's my first inktober thing, and I'm honestly not sure yet whether people even want to see so many Fallout Doodles or whether they might end up being annoyed after a week. XD
