Description Completed a couple weeks ago, built using plastikard, a Hornby 0-6-0 chassis and tender wheels from a Dapol 'Castle' Class 4-6-0.

Although there is already a brass kit of the CR 812 and 828 locomotives available from Caley Coaches, i have took it upon myself to build the CR 812 entirely from scratch. The model runs well in both directions and is finished in a Humbrol 'Satin' Black.

I dunno... Maybe you could use a Bachmann J39 or a Hornby Dean Goods. Either that, or I may as well have a bash at kit-bashing by making my own Donald from the 828 kit, seeing as you recommended it in the first place.

I'll have to get kit-building skills from professionals. Maybe you are one of them. Please can you gave me tips and tricks?
