Third illustration for chapter 7 of Conflicted Omens. Finally, we get to see more of what the backroom of Fell’s bookshop looks like. Note the titles of the books on the shelves behind Caudery. Remember how Fell started reading all those mystery stories? Most of these are by Agatha Christie. Enjoy!

The two settled at the round table in back, with a bottle of wine and glasses, (Fell had decided against the cocoa) and the notes. Newt was left to mind the shop out front. Caudery noticed Newt was spending more time either listening to he and Fell talk or watching the door then he was shelving books.
