Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you Wario from There Will Be Brawl ! I adore the series very much, and decided that I wanted to do some work based on the creators versions of the beloved game characters.

Wario, I must say, was fun as hell to draw. The color pallete I chose for him was a more high-keyed approach, since there are a lot of yellows involved in his design. Yellow is one of those colors you have to be careful with; a little goes a long way, in other words.

In the series, he is portrayed as a skeezy, double-crossing, opportunist... and I freaking love him for it. Of course, this isn't too far from his actual character; but since the series is a "film noir" style, he is even darker than normal. He's such an asshole <3. He helps run an underground pokemon fighting ring, thus the title of the image.

In addition to his character, the fact that he is played by none other than Kyle Herbert only adds to his coolness. I totally jawdropped when I figured out it was him.
