FINALLY! I've been waiting to upload these for a while now. I was going to wait until the last of the DLC fighters were released, but since we're getting more after the first five, I figured I might as well release my Top 5 now...

And Number One on my list -not counting DLC- are the Inklings from Splatoon!
When Splatoon was first teased in 2014 for Wii U, I do remember thinking "What the..?" Then I got to play a demo some time before it released... and I liked it. It wasn't perfect, but Splatoon was a great first entry in the series. "Mario Kart for shooters" is a perfect way to describe the game. And they've only gotten better with Splatoon 2 on the Switch! Sure, the Splatfests are over, but that doesn't mean the turf wars have to end... sides, considering how everything in Splatoon 2 ended, I know we're getting a third instalment...

As for how Inkling plays in Smash... not much different from in Splatoon, really. Though some things about Inkling in Smash can throw you off if you've come from Splatoon, or vice versa. My only problem with the Inkling is that there's only one different hairstyle between genders in Smash (though that's cause Smash was too far in development when Splatoon 2 was released), but I'm not breaking any bones over it... can't anyway, cause Inklings don't have bones! XD
That's why Inkling is in my Top 5 for Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
