there are two varieties of evolution stones in my universe! These big natural ones grow slowly over time and are fueled by elemental energy (the origin of said energy is not fully understood). Occasionally, parts of them are chipped or carved off, and these become the typical evolution stones seen in the games (there’s more explanation about them in a couple pages). Very small shards are essentially just Z crystals.
anyways, there’s a fire stone here because there’s a fire stone here in the games. Hmmmmmmm.
