And his enemies, smiling balefully...called him forth that night. Their faces were ignited with steely pride.

They had seen the changes wrought over the land and delighted in the fear which lingered within the eyes of their vanquished enemies. The power they held was enticing and addictive. Recruitment into their ranks was simple when the weak aspired to a form of tyrannic greatness long dead in their own fathers.

It was a task no one wanted to endure. Everyone knew the consequences of biting back were terrifying and severe. It was decades of doubt that had rendered the Prodigies feeble.

Not only was he taking a stand against the principles that dominated the status quo, he was inadvertently starting a whisper of defiance that swelled into the electrifying roar of revolution. Wolf of Shadows was young and inexperienced, but full of a passion natural to a person who daydreamed of a world that got along peacefully.

It was this hope that buoyed his resolve to walk in defiance where few dared to tread. It was in the name of his mother and father he went, and for all the generations past who had never known themselves for what they truly were or could be. The oppression had to end.

Unfortunately, he would later learn he had more in common with his enemies than he thought possible...and why the power held within was so dangerous and devastating to wield.

The earth blistered with the tension, knowing that soon its very nature would be summoned in the fight to come.

I plan on drawing more from parts of Wolf of Shadows life, since I don't think i'll be working on the comic. I just don't have a knack for it. XD
