You draw better guys faces then me.

Hands: start with a square for the palm and then thin blocks for fingers and a riangle for the thumb.

Canisters not so bad I would mearly make it a bit more rotund to give it some oomf.

Arm is actually pretty close. If you cut a bit of the sagging and erased some of the inner line I think it could work.

To improve on erasing just sketch lighter and hen draw in darker. I use a plain old light blue coloered pencil for my sketching and then finish with a pencil. It works great and the pencils are very cheap.

For paper I suggest copy paper. You can get about 500 pages for under 20 bucks and it lasts a long long time. I use that and a clipboard. It's a little more ghetto than a sketchbook but it gets the job done.

The bottom half should be longer and don't rush past details. Shoes are a good example. Take the time to detail them, put dsigns on them, shoelaces, anything. The more little things you throw into a picture the bette it becomes.

But no really, I think it'll be cute, with just a wee bit of anatomy practice. Go buy one of those moveable mankins, that's what I did :]
